If your council does not allow you to recycle cartons in your kerbside collection, or if you’re not sure, find out more below:

The following authorities do not currently accept cartons for recycling in kerbside collections or at local centres:

  • Basingstoke and Deane
  • Darlington
  • Eastbourne
  • Eastleigh
  • Fareham
  • Gosport
  • Maidstone
  • Rother
  • Tamworth
  • Tonbridge and Malling

If you live within one of these local authorities, or if you cannot access a nearby recycling facility, you can send your empty cartons back to us for recycling. Instructions on how to return your cartons are below:

  • Collect at least 4 empty cartons, wash them & squash them, replace the lid and pop them in an envelope or box (up to 50 x 50 x 60cm).
  • Generate a returns QR code via our returns portal - a link to this will be available when our cartons go live.
  • Take your parcel to your local drop off point. They’ll get your empties to us and we’ll sort the recycling.
